OLED-on-Silicon Solution Based on HME-H1D03 FPGA

Background

The traditional thermal imaging equipment or night vision product, which used small-sized LCD displayers in low resolution by early. OLED-on-Silicon is available to support higher resolution within same screen size, like 1080p, and usually reach to 2K. For LCD displays, which use parallel interface or LVDS before, but OLED-on-Silicon displays use MIPI interface generally as the higher resolution support.

As many devices in both  requirements, and two MIPI interfaces are required, but, many masters are hard to support two MIPI synchronous in current.

Advantages

  • High-speed interface transmission: H1D03 MIPI interface running up to 1.5Gbps, can meet the high-resolution requirement of OLED-on-Silicon.
  • Small-sized:  OLED-on-Silicon is so small itself that makes a high requirement on the volume of interface converting (IC). H1D03 FPGA has smaller in size and W72 package in 3.9x3.3.
  • Low-power consumption: H1D03 has the advantages of smaller size, lower power consumption and higher reliability, which more suitable for handheld devices.
